Allison is a certified coach and received her training from Martha Beck Inc., The Coaches Training Institute, and life itself. She is an energy healer and is certified in Reiki I and II. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis on environmental psychology, health psychology and behavioral medicine. She has taught as a Lecturer in the Psychology Department at Connecticut College. Prior to founding her coaching practice, Allison worked in the fields of organizational and leadership development and clinical hospital research, among others. Allison is a writer and has published articles in Environment & Behavior, The Journal of Environmental Psychology, The Association for Women in Psychology Newsletter, The Marblehead Reporter, and The Journal of the Human Resource Planning Society. She currently is exploring her passion for creative writing. She is a nature-lover and enjoys pretty much any activity on a mountain, in the water, or on the snow, as well as meditation/yoga, singing and dancing in the living room, and doing nothing. Originally from New England, she currently lives in Northern California near Lake Tahoe.
